Welcome to Stand Out Bulldogs! We are a family operated kennel located in Southeast Missouri, 15 miles south of Cape Girardeau. We are 5 miles off of I-55, dead center between St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee.
We raise bulldogs as a passion and hobby, not as a means to make a living. I got my first bulldog, and American Bulldog, in 1993. I have owned several of these muscled-up, fearless bulldogs since then. I also liked the shorter, more extreme English Bulldog. But I was reluctant to get one because of all the health issues associated with them. So when I saw an Olde Bulldogge in person, I knew they were what I was looking for in a bulldog. Shorter and more bullier than the American, yet still muscular and capapble in movement unlike most English Bulldogs.
Olde English Bulldogges are the re-creation of the old bull-baiting bulldogs. We breed for health and temperment first and foremost. Additionally, we selectively breed for conformation, muscle tone, thickness, chest width, and tight coats. Breeding for specific colors is not a top priority for us.
We breed medium to large bulldogs, striving to keep them under 20 inches and between 65-100 lbs. We take great pride in the condition our dogs are kept and housed. Our dogs are loved, cared for and excerised daily.

If you are looking to purchase a quality bulldog be patient and prepared to spend time researching. Although pictures and websites can be very useful, be careful...glamour photos, fancy graphics, and cool music don't always accurately represent kennels, owners, and their dogs.
If you are fortunate enough to live near a reputable breeder, contact them and ask to visit their kennel. Interacting with the puppies and adult dogs, while getting to see their living conditions gives you an indication of what you can hope your puppy will mature to be.
